I would like to welcome everyone to the Green Mountain Jr. Baseball Association (GMJBA) 2007 season. I hope all the coaches, parents, and especially the kids, had a fun and successful season. It is my goal to make the 2007 baseball year the best yet for all of the returning kids as well as new. GMJBA will be considered one of the elite places to play baseball in the state of Colorado, something everyone can take PRIDE in.
We will continue to offer our tremendous PeeWee program for ages 5-8, including both coach and machine pitch leagues. Our Junior program will consist of Roberto Clemente (8yr player pitch) and ages 9-14 in Major, AAA, AA divisions. We will continue our Level 3 program consisting of high school freshman and sophomores with "hands on" participation from GMHS Varsity Coach Brad Kidwell. Basically, GMJBA is committed to provide an excellent baseball program for ALL ages at ALL levels.
As you can see, our web site is outstanding, providing the players relevant, up to date information for their team, convenient lines of communication to Coaches and Board members for parents, as well as all calendar events with printable forms on site.
The Scott Van Coevern Tournament should be a huge success as it is sanctioned by USSSA as a National Invitational Tournament. GMJBA will be recognized nationally as a tremendous place to "PLAY BALL".
As you can see, this season is filled with great expectations and excitement for everyone in the community. Remember, we could not do this without the tremendous support and hard work from our coaches, parents, and the GMJBA Board.
